We have ALL had the crud around here. Thankfully we are all about over it. They finally put Trev on a antibiotic and he is has stop coughing. We have several things going on right now. My computer has a virus and the geek squad has it! Nolen had his yearly blood work done. His asthma is good but his food allergies have not improved like we had thought. Craig had a physical and needs to work on his cholesterol. Spring break is just around the corner and we can't wait! Since I am on my phone I have only a few pics to show you!!!

Santa brought our Little Trevy a skateboard for Christmas. Several times we have thought WHAT WAS HE THINKING!! Trev has great balance and caught on very quickly. We let him ride in the house. He is doing so good. Craig found a local skate park and Trev can't wait to go!

Georgia Aquarium

This weekend we took the boys to the Georgia Aquarium, The World of Coke, and IKEA. We wanted to go somewhere we have never been before. We all had a blast. The only problem we faced was the "Food Allergy" problem. We were unfamiliar with the area so that made it a little harder to find a place to eat.
I would highly recommend the Aquarium for everyone. We spent four hours in it. The kids were very excited to see the whale sharks and beluga whales. Trevor loved the whales. I think he could watch them for hours. We also caught the Dolphin tale show. It was very COOL. It was a show where the dolphins did tricks. The show reminded me of Sea World. We hope to take the kids back.
The World of Coke was also really cool. I didn't get pictures with my camera the boys were really tired. I have some on my phone that I will post later this week. We were able to see how Coke was made and bottled. At the end of the tour we were able to sample different coke products from other parts of the World. Craig and I sampled one from Italy that was terrible. I can't describe how bad it was. The boys were WIRED after all the sampling. We had a very good time and can't wait to go back!

Last month Craig had a guys weekend. They went fishing about four hours away. I never expected him to catch these giant fish in thirty degree weather. He had so much fun! My Nolie went to Art camp today. He loves going. Last week he painted a gingerbread house today the Hogwarts express! He was thrilled today because he loves Trains and Harry Potter. In my opinion he is very good. It is a little expensive to go but Craig and I don't mind. It is the one place it doesn't matter if he has food allergies or asthma. For a couple of hours he can be like a normal seven year old. I am sooo proud of him!!!!

Last night we had Christmas at my parents. It was very casual we came in our sweats and ate Sir Pizza. My parents were beyond thrilled to have all 13 of us under one roof. It rarely happens so we treasure the time we have together. Since I should be folding laundry, baking, and wrapping I am going to share just a few pictures. We had a wonderful night together and are very blessed to have each other!

I didn't get a a clear picture of my parents and all the kids. We were busy laughing at Ella she wanted to pull my Mom's hair or laugh at Trev. It was very funny! We are having so much fun with the babies!

Reusable Gingerbread House!!!

This morning the boys made their Yearly Gingerbread house. I found this really neat REUSABLE house. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. All you need is white icing and candy. I found mine at Christmas Village but you can order it here! The boys had a ton of fun decorating it. It was the easiest house we have ever made, Every time Trevor walks by it he picks a piece of Candy off. He might be on a sugar high for a few weeks!!!

Step 1: Snap it together. It was so easy. No worrying about it sticking together.

Step 2: Gather two little boys in the jammies and along with CANDY!!!

Step 3: Ice it and try not to lick your fingers

Step 4: Decorate.....Let the kids eat all the candy they want after all how many mornings do they get Candy for breakfast!

I am a little late with this post but Christmas Time around here is a little crazy. My cousin was able to get us 4 free tickets to the The Rocketts . Thank You Justin we had wonderful seats. Nolen had been asking to go so it was a fabulous surprise for him. The boys were very good. At the end of the show they have a Living Nativity. I look over and my son whose Heart is bigger than him, was crying. He was very moved. Sweet thing kept saying he was sorry. It just made me hug him tighter. After the show Craig met us at Opryland Hotel. We walked around and tried to get pictures of the boys. They had not interest in the hotel. They wanted to go see Santa at Bass Pro. We had a wonderful night. My pictures are not the best the lighting was horrible!

This year we decided to have a low key birthday for Nolen. We let him tell us what he wanted to do for his day. The day started off with a boys only trip to Waffle House. Then Daddy took him to Target to pick out a gift from him. He picked out a Nascar game for the play station 3. He told me he wanted a pack of ten cars from me, so that is what he got. He decided that we would go bowling, play games, have cake, open presents, and then eat Cici's pizza. It had to be done in that order.We did everything like he wanted. He had a Wonderful Day!!! I still can't believe I have a 7 year old. Time flies when your having fun!

The week before Halloween Craig and I had a spur of the moment date night. Mom and Dad kept the boys and we ate at Fulins. I bet we haven't been to a different place in over a year. I told Craig next time we need to try something different to spice our life up....Next date night we had Mexican haha!!! . Heaven

I am not sure at what age you are supposed to talk to your child about Heaven and Hell. Craig and I seem to talk about things with our kids earlier than some parents. Most of the time one question starts a family discussion. Nolen is very smart and will ask several questions on various subjects. I try to be very honest with him. If I can tell I have went to far I change the subject. Recently we passed a cemetery during a burial. The boys immediately starting asking questions. I didn't dodge their questions because at some point in their life they will have to experience a funeral and burial. Trevor understands that if God is in your heart you will go to Heaven when you die. Which he thinks is in a big fluffy white cloud. He also knows the the devil lives in Hell where you get burned and there is lots of fire. He knows bad people go to hell.
The other day when his Daddy told him to stop jumping from couch to couch if not he will fall and die then he won't get to see Santa. Trevor's response was, "But I'll Get to Go to Heaven!" Amen to that Trevor!!! It just made Craig and I realize they do listen even when you think they aren't!!!

Just when I think we are finally getting back to normal, Mother nature soars in with another weather change. I am sooo over our weather pattern right now. Call me crazy (some already do) but I can tell you what time the cold front came through yesterday. My sweet Nolie started wheezing and coughing. It is weird but it is not the first time it has happened. When the barometric pressure drops Nolen's asthma flares up. It is very common in asthmatics.

This Sweet thing will be 7 in 9 DAYS!!! EEEK He's getting to big!

Sorry I am late getting these up but it has been a little crazy around here. Two little boys on steroids makes for a very WILD house! We went out to Travis and Demi's house Saturday Night for a Pumpkin Carving contest and then Monday night for Trick or Treating. My boys LOVE going to their house on Halloween because Travis and Demi always dress up! Thank You Travis and Demi for opening your house up to our crazy family!!! We had GREAT time!

Nolen had his Fall Fest at school yesterday. I love watching him interact with his friends. I was told I could not kiss him in front of his friends. That hurt me just a little bit! He had fun and I was soooo happy I could be there with him. His class went apple bobbing. A bee keeper came and the kids sampled the honey. They had their face painted and painted pumpkins. Then we hit up the book fair. It was nice to spend time with my big boy!!!

Yesterday we spent the day at Defeated Creek with Craig's side of the family. We have been doing this camping trip every fall for the past 10 years. The kids love it. We carve pumpkins, ride bikes, feed the fish, throw rocks, and eat. There is about 40 of us. The weather was perfect yesterday and we had a wonderful time.

Sunday my hubby tried to kill me! He made my chip eating, cookie loving, and coke drinking body Hike. There was a small moment during our hike I didn't think Nolen and I were going to make it back up the trail. Nolen and I enjoy our carbs. and our bodies just aren't cut out for Hikes lol. Thankfully, Nolen packed half the pantry before we left so if we didn't make it back up we had our carbs to snack on ha! All I want is a shot of Trevor juice. The kid never runs out of energy. He wanted to hike the trail again. Nolen and I were going into cardiac arrest and he wanted to go again. All Joking aside we had a Wonderful Family Day. The weather was perfect and trees were beautiful. We enjoy our family days. We do not get them enough. Craig mentioned going back again this weekend. I hope he understands if I sit this hike out since I am having trouble walking down stairs my legs hurt so bad!!!

I spent most of my day playing in photoshop. I love making new scrapbook pages. It is a fun hobby that has endless possibilities. They only problem I face is when I change my blog. Blogger is constantly changing their design and css/html codes. I think I have finally figured it out. I hope they don't change before I make my Christmas background. I am going to work on changing Grandma's blog this week. If you are interested in me giving your blog a fresh look just email me! My hubby says I need to make it more a job than hobby ha!!!

Catch Up!

We have been so concerned about Trevor lately that I haven't had time to blog. I have plans to get the blog changed and caught back up. I just have to ~~bribe~~ get a good picture of my boys for my blog header. My phone pictures will have to do.

Trevor went for his post-op on Tuesday and he is one hundred percent out of the risk phase. PRAISE JESUS for wrapping his arms around him the past few weeks. We are so Thankful for everyone who has called and sent gifts. We are so blessed to have wonderful people in our lives!

Trev at his post op appointment this week. He was looking for his Dad's job site!

I spent last weekend snuggling with our newest family member, Bryant Stallworth! To say I miss him is a understatement. Thank You Angel, Ben, Ethan, and Bryant for the wonderful hospitality and YUMMY food! Thank You Mom for letting Travis and I steal your Southwest points and for picking Nolie up from school. Thank You Craig for letting me go and taking great care of our boys!

Nolen has been on fall break this week and both boys are next week. I actually have been dreading it because the boys have been fighting so much. Craig and I thought it would be a disaster. We have been wrong they have been so good. I totally under estimated the little stinkers. Nolen loves art so I decided to sign him up for an Art Class at the Art Mill. He loved it and is going back next week. He is also a superstar when to comes to getting his shots. He is very close to the maintenance stage. The shots have helped him so much. It has been well worth the time and money! Hopefully I can get caught up on the laundry and work on blog this weekend.

Better Days

Trev is doing much better we are still watching him very close. He is currently not taking any pain medication. He is doing good without it. He has started talking and eating more. He is finally drinking a whole cup of his favorite drink, Strawberry Milk. He is not completely out of the clear yet. We are waiting for his scabs to fall off and once they do his risk of bleeding goes down. They look like they are going to fall off at any moment. I am supposed to fly to Idaho this weekend to meet Bryant and see Ethan. However, I am still undecided. Trev is making great progress and Craig is encouraging me to go. This will be the first time I have left all three of my boys. I think they want me to go not matter what. I know they have "Secret Plans" haha!!!

Long Week

It has been a long week. Trevor is doing well and healing like he should. He is in pain when his meds wear off. He tries so hard to be tough but it hurts. We pulled his extra mattress into the living room. It will probably be there for the next couple of weeks. It just gives us a comfort knowing he is right there. He isn't eating or talking much but will drink through out the day. About an hour after he has his pain meds he attempts to eat. Most of the time it is two bites. Hopefully today we will see some more improvement. Keep Praying for my buddy. We don't like seeing him this way!

Our sweet baby Trevor had his tonsil and adenoids out today. He is doing great so far. They told us his tonsils and adenoids were abnormally large. The doctor said we will see a huge difference in his breathing, sleeping, eating, and hopefully his pesky cough. The doctor stressed there will be huge difference because his tonsils were so big. We are PRAYING hard that happens. He is eating his Popsicle's and drinking plenty of fluids. We are Praying he continues to do good!

Bluefield!!!

We went to Bluefied, Virgina over Labor day weekend. The kids were WONDERFUL. Our boys do great in the car and LOVE sleeping in the hotels. We left early Saturday morning and arrived in Bluefield mid-day to a HUGE lunch at Aunt Ruby's house. It was delish! Later that night we were treated to another feast at Mrs. Debbie's house. Thank You it was wonderful. You can see some pictures on Grandma's blog! We had a wonderful time visiting with our family. We can't wait to go back.
The next morning we went to the Kidd Family Reunion. The kids played in Wolf Creek where their Great Grandfather did when he was their age. There were over 100 people there. Craig's Pawpaw and his brother are the only two living out of 12 brothers and sisters. It was fun and again there was more good food. We ended up with some GREAT family pictures. I can not wait to make our family calendar this year!!!

Last First Day

Today is Trev's last first day of Mother's Day Out. I normally would be doing cart wheels however this year I have shed a few tears. Maple Hill MDO has been a huge part our lives for the past 5 years it will be very hard to say good bye at the end of the year. I know he is fine he LOVES school and was ready to see his friends.
He wanted NOTHING to do with Pictures this morning. He still looks very handsome to me! He had his new Lunch box and back pack! Our boys do not go anywhere with out a stuffed friend. Today it was his bear we got in the smokies last weekend!!!!

Hair!

This makes me smile. It was a "Good" asthma day. I love it when he gets to play outside and get dirty.His hair is cracking me up. He puts a TON of gel in it every morning. The back will not lay down unless it has gel. In these pictures he was trying to grow it out so he could have a Mohawk. The only problem is his hair grows straight up. He is very picky about his hair just LIKE his daddy! He may have Crazy Hair but he is still a big Sweetheart!!!

A Couple Days after I took these pictures he finally pulled out his front tooth. You might not be able to see but it was sticking straight out. The permanent tooth was already half way down!

My sweet baby T is having a rough time getting over the funk. He is fighting off infection after infection. We have been to the doctor several times and he has been on several different antibiotics. We learned last week he is going to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. It has been a very difficult decision for us to make. We really hope this helps because this little guy just isn't himself. Please keep us in your Prayers!! Hopefully we will have a Happier Healthier Trevor when it all over with!

One thing is for sure he is the cutest Little Monkey around!

I am so proud of my boys they are jumping off the diving board and swimming by themselves. Trevor wears his water wings and is all over the pool. He is like a little motorboat. We were laughing because he is so fast. Last night Nolen venture to the deep end for the first time in his life. Once he figured out he could do it he was unstoppable. He does good and needs a little help from time to time (only because he panics) He understands what to do and I think he would be okay now if he fell in. I am sooo proud of them!

New Hair Do

I have thought about cutting my hair for a long time. Craig has asked me to cut it for years. I never had the nerve but decided after my sister in-law cut hers that I could do it too. I made my appointment with Demi and told my self I can do this it is just hair. I think Demi was a little nervous but she did a wonderful job and I could not be more pleased with how it turned out. THANKS DEMI (btw, she is in Franklin if you need your hair cut) The boys all approved. Nolie liked it and Trev asked me if I could put it back on. Craig loves it. Only 1 complaint. He said the picture I posted on Facebook was horrible it looks much better in person haha!! Men got to love them they are so honest haha!!! So this is a different picture than the one on FB haha!

P.S. My Mom really loves it too....

School is going great. Getting back on routine has been pretty easy. The majority of the mornings Nolie has been up around 6! Afternoons have been a little rough he has been a little ill because he is soo tired. He has been asleep by 7:30 every night! Nolie told me that 1st grade is different than Kindergarten and he likes it! Craig likes to do his homework with him. If he gets all his spelling words right he gives him a dollar. (shhh don't tell Craig but Nolen and I go over them before he gets home so Nolie can get his dollar) I am so glad Nolie loves school. I Pray each day he never loses that Love. He is growing up WAY too fast.

Sweet Trev will not stay in his bed at night. He has been caught sneaking out of his room several times. It is actually funny to see him peeking around the corner after standing there quietly for five minutes. He has never had any trouble going to bed. He will fight bedtime for an hour. I know it is a phase he will be out of it soon. He amazes me because he can sneak from his room to my bed without anyone hearing him. He slides across the floor like snake. The child is always doing something!!!

35 Weeks

Angel is 35 weeks. The time is getting closer. I can't wait to meet Bryant. I would love to be there for the birth but 2,000 miles is a little far. I will meet Bryant a couple weeks after he is born. I am leaving my babies to visit him for a few days. It will be my first time to leave the boys. She might not let me come after I post this picture haha! She is doing good and looks wonderful! Ben looks great also haha!

I NEVER wonder Why or How could my child do that. I have a really good idea who he is like. Trev adores his Uncle Travis. When he does something and I tell my mom she normally says, "Yea been there done that ha!" If we see some one from our childhood they always say, "Trevor looks just like his Mom!" our response is always, "Well He looks like his Mom but acts just like his Uncle!" This is what the two got into Sunday afternoon!!! Riding the cooler to the shop Haha!!!! Both of them are little clowns!

1st Grade

Honestly I do not know were the summer went. I must admit I am so happy that school has started again. I LOVE our routine. My day seems to flow better when I get up early and get going. Getting up at 5:15 is not bad once my body adjust to it. This week we will all be in bed asleep at 7!!!

Our Little Man started 1st Grade today. I can not believe we have a 1st grader. He was up and ready before it was time to leave. He insisted on doing his own hair gel and he had to help pack his lunch box. I did not have to tell him to brush his teeth. He did it on his own. He was so excited to see his friends. He was a little upset I had to walk him in. I had to sign a few things so I had to walked him in. Several of his friends from last year are in his class this year. I can't stress how happy he was to see them. We had a meeting with his teacher Friday and explained all his allergies/asthma problems. I think he will do well with her. I know we are going to have a GREAT year :)

Truck Racing

Friday night my parents took the boys to the Truck Race at the Super speedway. We have been to the track several times but the boys normally hang out in the motor home. This year they went to the stands and they loved it!! Nolie did wonderful with the noise and Trev sat through the race. The highlight of their night was a truck catching on fire and the burn out at the end. They had a wonderful time Thank You Gee Gee and Pawpaw for taking the boys. Some of my FAVORITE childhood memories are at the race track. I remember going when I was the boys age. It was so much fun.

I must admit I am a tad bit jealous of her because her Wardrobe is MASSIVE, I don't think I have ever seen in her the same outfit hahaha!!!!

Swimming

We started out the summer with the boys not wanting to attempt swimming. Nolie said he was fine jumping off the side of the pool. He had no desire to learn how to swim. Craig and I agreed he would learn in his own time and we would not push him. He did get on the boat a few times which is a MAJOR accomplishment. A couple of weeks ago we told him he was basically swimming he needed to try moving his arms a certain way. He did it and is doing wonderful. We are very proud of him we know it was not easy for the him. I am also proud to report that Trevor is swimming very well with his water wings. He still hangs out around the stairs but could go anywhere if he was brave enough. I am very proud of them. Hopefully next year they will be little fish!!!!

p.s. his bottom in the air is pretty funny haha!!!

Our favorite thing to do on Friday night is go out for dinner and go do something fun as a family of 4. Some nights it is just Taco bell and Walmart but it is time together. Our family time is limited these days because we don't know Craig's work schedule from week to week.The boys look forward to the weekends. Last night was very entertaining. I have to document it so I can look back and laugh.

Friday night wrap up.
On the way to dinner Nolen says, "Wow look at those clouds are those storm clouds?" Trevor says, "No that is Heaven where Jesus lives." (We had the heaven and hell conversation at dinner the night before)

We had Dinner at O'Charley's our SAFE restaurant. Trev tells our waitress he can't have the fresh steak because they make him Throw up. We leave the restaurant and see all kinds of "Cool Cars" around town. We ~~ride~~ cruise around town so Nolie can see them.

Nolie has to to potty. Craig goes down the square and we talk about a building that has burned. Trev says, "I bet HELL made the fire!" (again he grasp Heaven and Hell ha!) Nolie remembers all about the fire that happened over 2 years ago. He tells us all the details about the fire. His memory is AMAZING!

Craig runs a red light and Nolen scolds him from the back seat. We really have to potty the only place is Lowes. Nolie starts crying because he doesn't want to go in there. The reason why he doesn't want to go in Lowes is because he is not a Jimmie Johnson fan. He is a Joey Lagano fan. He doesn't like Lowes only Home Depot. Yes he really said this and was crying over it. He went in anyway. Trev sits on every Lawn mower on display and opens every fridge, washer, and dryer in Lowes. Even after a spanking he wouldn't stop. We find a rug for our living room for $17. It was a display and had a big crease. We were Bummed it would have matched perfect.

We miss our movie because we took to long in Lowes. No biggie we get the boys Ice Cream. Trev spills his sorbet all over his pants and legs. No big deal I have wipes! We decided to take the boys putt putt!

The kids enjoy a round of putt putt. They are getting along GREAT! They want to play again so we let them. The course is a good one according to our boys. I think it is neat because it has Bible verses and Inspirational signs at every hole. My favorite one of the night was

I text it to my girlfriends, I knew they would get a kick out of it. One of them calls me back as we are talking Craig says "Look at your son!" I turn around and the child has dropped his pants and is peeing in the grass. I was in shock. We never have a dull moment with Trev.

I had to write all this down because I don't want to forget it. I can't wait to look back at this and laugh. I know there will be a Friday night that our kids will have better things to do than hang out with their parents. For now we are soaking it up!!!!

Last weekend we attempted to have family pictures after Jessica and Mark's wedding. I don't think I have been to wedding that truly captured the bride and grooms personality like theirs did. There is always one little stinker that doesn't want his picture made. This time it was Trevor. Craig wanted you know HE took the pics but I edited them to make them BETTER haha!!! I am not sure if it is Craig's skills or his girlfriend but he has been on the fish this year. I can say I have caught more this year than I have in years. It has been fun going with him. He was able to take Ethan a few weeks ago and Ethan caught a couple of nice fish. Craig and Trevor go about twice a week. We have been out as a family a couple times but Nolen doesn't enjoy fishing he says it is boring. Craig and Jeremy have been several times this year on the river and they always do good. I am glad he gets some down time he needs it work has been stressful.

Father's Day

I am sure this will be a Father's Day weekend Craig will never forget. It is because of the AWESOME present we got him. He spent Friday afternoon in the ER. He went to the doctor on Thursday and they said he had an infection in his leg and if it got worse go to the ER. It got worse, much worse. They gave him IV antibiotics in the ER. Normally they would keep someone with this type of infection all night. However they did not have a free bed so he got to come home. He had to be off his leg the whole weekend. He told me not to come to the hospital. He said he was sitting in his hat and gown watching golf in the in a cool dark room with NO CHILDREN or NAGGING WIFE only Hot nurses!! Happy Father's Day to him indeed, it is a shame this Father's Day present will cost several hundred dollars because I think it was the best gift we could have given him ...ALONE TIME haha! Just kidding we were very worried about him and so Thankful they were able to get the infection under control so he didn't have to spend the entire weekend in the hospital. He is doing much better today. His leg is still very sore. We think the infection came from an open sore on his leg Memorial weekend. He went fishing and we swam in the lake. We think he might have got it from the water. I am just Thankful he is better.

Water Fun

It is not a secret that my boys are scared of the water. If they can not touch or see the bottom they are not getting near the water. Getting them on the boat takes a lot of begging on our part. Last Saturday we managed to get both boys on the boat without any major melt downs. Trevor does great on the boat. Nolen has a lot of anxiety when it comes to water and the noise of boat. He did good after we settled down and explained to him how everything works. It turned out to be a wonderful afternoon on the water. The weather turned out perfect and we all caught fish.
